A woman was sued for a murder. Since she can’t afford bail, she was imprisoned for 19 years. During this period, she was deserted by her family, while the court overlooked her appeal and simply ignored her. Thanks to her son, who was born in the prison, he tightened up his belt and saved up the money to stand on bail and hiring a lawyer; hence his mother was discharged from the prison recently.

When Kamhaiya was financially independent, he saved money to stand on bail for his mother. He then visited Allahabad for the first time on his own to hire a lawyer. Going through all the obstacles, he eventually found a lawyer willing to take the case. Now, what Kumariwishes is her son a merry life, “I hope he could get married, and then I can have my family too .”
This is a real life story in India about abandon and undertaking. The deep connection between the mother and son clings to my mind. placed inside the exhibition hall and area facing the sea)

A Moving Hill

Hi! Flora, Fauna
2000 donated buddy toys
2021
A community-participatory public art, including on-site activities and project process displays.
2000 discarded animal toys and "stack" them freely (because each animal toy has a strong magnet built in, they naturally stack on top of each other, and the stacking pattern cannot be controlled manually).
Humans, being economic animals, appear to have established a close relationship with such mimicked animals, where the parties have undergone an extended process of taming. Thousands of animal toys, which were originally, for instance, gifts from parents, props used for graduation portraits, and prizes from claw-machine shops that have folded. These cast-off objects, so much a part of old memories, are brought to the Gardens at the CBD and turned into a colourful art installation. As each of these has a powerful magnet inside, therefore, a game of counterattack is played in the animal park - in which the abandoned animal puppets cannot be tamed again.
